CORVETTE - Page 47. NEW OPTION:  A new anti-theft alarm system is now available on Corvette Models. When activated, the system produces a loud intermittent "Beeping" sound whenever the hood or doors are opened.

Components of the audio alarm system include a separate key switch (to turn the system on or off) located on the rear cove panel, a high note horn hidden behind the left rear wheel splash shield, a horn relay and flasher assembly to produce the intermittent action, automatic switches on doors and hood, and necessary wiring.
