As of 2001, #39 was used as the donor parts car by Al Wiseman and Chuck Miller in the restoration of #158 listed below. The car is destined to be auctioned off afterwards. Previous owner was from Miami, FL.

1953 Corvette Convertible, VIN #39, Fiftieth Anniversary Collection, Blue Flame Six, powerglide, numbers match. Polo White paint with Sportsman Red interior and Black soft top. Body-off restored in absolute Concours show condition. This car was restored for shows like Pebble Beach, Amelia Island, and Meadow Brook... This is one of the best Concours 1953's in the world! This lot number includes the matching 2003 50th anniversary convertible (mule) VIN #39 (Stk. #373.2Y) and the 1953 Corvette pedal car VIN #39 which was licensed officially by GM.
